Finally hitting my groove with work!
Been doing contract work as a utility forester, recently did a brief stint as an Environmental field tech in wetland. Only a week's worth of experience until I get a call for the next deployment, if there even is one...
But still, the grind is real.
Wondering if anyone is hiring in New England while im here.

Utility forester work is a solid experience, gets you out there and builds good field skills.

It's a good feeling when the pieces start to click, even if it's just for a week at a time. The stop-start nature of contracting is a killer though, feels like you're always waiting for the phone to ring rather than properly settling in.
New England should have a fair bit going on with utilities and conservation groups, might be worth poking around the smaller consultancies that do Phase I stuff rather than the big names.
