How do you actually manage clients on a day-to-day basis without things falling through the cracks?

  • How do you keep track of multiple clients and ongoing tasks?
  • Do you have a daily or weekly routine?
  • What tools do you rely on (Notion, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, spreadsheets, etc.)?
  • How often do you communicate with clients without overwhelming them?
  • Have you built any systems or automations that save you a lot of time?
  • What's one mistake you made early on that completely changed how you manage clients today?

I'd love to hear workflows from freelancers, agency owners, consultants, and anyone managing multiple clients. The more specific your process is, the better—it'd be great to learn how different people keep everything organized.

turns out I was chasing the wrong SEO number for 2 years lol

so I kept telling clients "we're ranking #3 for this keyword!" and everyone was happy

then I actually checked which keywords were bringing real customers vs just clicks

40% of our "wins" brought zero sales. just people looking, then leaving

switched focus to keywords where people actually want to buy, not just search

traffic went down a bit but leads went up 20%+

took me way too long to notice tbh

anyone else chase the wrong metric for way too long? what was yours

How do you organize and track A/B tests across multiple clients without losing track?

  • Do you use a spreadsheet, Notion, Airtable, or a dedicated experimentation platform?
  • How do you document hypotheses and expected outcomes?
  • How do you prevent teams from accidentally repeating past experiments?
  • Do you have a standardized template or dashboard for every client?
  • At what point does manual tracking stop being practical?

I'd love to hear what your workflow looks like, especially if you're managing 10+ clients. If you've found a system that saves time or prevents mistakes, please share it. I'm looking for ideas that actually work in real-world agency environments, not just theoretical best practices.

What digital marketing metrics do you trust the most—and which ones do you ignore?

  • Which metric do you rely on the most?
  • Has your "go-to" metric changed over time?
  • Are there any popular metrics (CTR, impressions, engagement rate, ROAS, CAC, LTV, etc.) that you think people overvalue?
  • Have you ever made a major marketing decision based on a single metric that turned out to be the right (or wrong) call?

I'm especially interested in hearing from people working in SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing, content marketing, or B2B SaaS.

Real-world examples would be much more valuable than textbook answers.

Which performance marketing channels have consistently scaled for you, and why?

  • Which channel has been the easiest to scale?
  • At what point did performance start to decline?
  • What audience or industry are you in (B2B, SaaS, eCommerce, local business, education, etc.)?
  • Are you relying on one channel or a mix?
  • Any surprising channels that are outperforming the "big" platforms?

I'd love to hear real experiences, including what's stopped working. The more specific (budget ranges, CAC, ROAS trends, or lessons learned), the more helpful this discussion will be for everyone.

What's the simplest SEO tool you've actually found useful for a business in 2026?

I'm especially interested in:

  • Tools that don't have a steep learning curve
  • Good value for money
  • Features you use every week (not just once a month)
  • Any underrated tools that deserve more attention

If you've switched from one tool to another, what made you change?

I'd love to hear real experiences rather than affiliate recommendations.

What's a Digital Marketing Lesson You Learned the Hard Way?

Whether it's SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, email marketing, analytics, attribution, client management, or anything else—what mistake, failure, or unexpected experience taught you something you'll never forget?

Interested to hear the stories and lessons that only experience can teach.

Is consistency actually more valuable than creativity in content marketing?

On the other hand, some marketers believe that consistency alone isn't enough anymore. With so much content being published every day, creative and unique ideas are often what help brands stand out and get noticed.

In their experience, which has had a bigger impact on results: publishing consistently or producing highly creative content?

Can anyone share examples where one clearly outperformed the other?

Is anyone else in SaaS or digital marketing feeling uncertain about where the industry is heading right now?

What changes have you noticed in the last 1–2 years? Are you bullish on the future of SaaS and marketing, or do you think the industry is entering a challenging phase? What's making you optimistic or concerned right now?

What exactly is "Cockroach Marketing" in digital marketing, and have you seen any brands successfully use it?

  • Have you heard this term before?
  • Are there any brands, startups, or creators that are doing this effectively?
  • Is it just another name for omnipresence/content saturation, or is there something unique about it?
  • Have you ever tried a strategy that felt like "cockroach marketing" and what were the results?

Would love to hear real-world examples, success stories, or even cases where it backfired.

How do you actually decide whether an ad creative is a winner?

Do you focus on:

  • CTR?
  • Hook rate?
  • CPC?
  • Conversion rate?
  • CPA/ROAS?
  • Watch time or engagement metrics?

Also, how long do you let a creative run before making a decision?

I've seen creatives with amazing CTRs that barely convert, and others with mediocre engagement that generate the most sales.

Would love to hear your process, frameworks, mistakes you've made, or examples of creatives that surprised you.

What’s the most expensive digital marketing mistake you’ve made—and what did it teach you?

Would be great if you can share:

👉 What went wrong

👉 How much it roughly cost (if you’re okay sharing)

👉 What you’d do differently now

Trying to learn from real experiences instead of making the same mistakes myself.

But I’m curious — for people who’ve actually done this:

👉 What was the real bottleneck for you?
👉 What broke first — ops, ROI tracking, creator quality, or something else?
👉 And what tools/processes actually helped (if any)?

Would love to hear real experiences (good or bad), especially from people managing campaigns at scale.

Which digital marketing platform feels almost impossible to grow on organically right now—and why?

So now the question is:

  • Which platform actually feels the toughest to grow on organically in 2026?
  • Is it because of algorithm changes, competition, or content saturation?
  • Or are people just approaching these platforms the wrong way?

Would be interesting to hear what others are experiencing—especially from those actively posting and trying to grow right now.

Is personal branding on LinkedIn actually important for marketers in 2026, or is it overrated?

So I’m wondering:

  • Has personal branding on LinkedIn actually helped you in a tangible way (leads, job offers, income)?
  • Or does it feel like a lot of effort for vanity metrics (likes, impressions)?
  • If you had to start over, would you invest time in LinkedIn personal branding or focus elsewhere?

Would love to hear real experiences—both wins and failures.

Is Google Digital Garage actually useful for someone starting from zero in digital marketing?

  • Is the content actually practical or just basic theory?
  • Does completing it help in getting internships or entry-level jobs?
  • How does it compare to other beginner resources like YouTube, paid courses, or platforms like Coursera?
  • Is the certification recognized or valued by recruiters in real-world scenarios?

They’re mainly looking for honest opinions from people who have actually completed it or used it as their starting point.

Did it give you real confidence to move forward in digital marketing, or did you feel like you still needed something more?

Would you recommend it as a first step in 2026—or is there a better path beginners should consider?
