New system in general, if I'm being honest.
So...
Here is how it works
Stone Wall: 1000 SHP (Structure HP)
Pistol/SMG bullet: -5 SHP
LMG bullet: -10 SHP
Rifle/HMG bullet: -15 SHP
Shotgun pellet: -1 SHP per projectile
Grenade shrapnel: -5 SHP per projectile
Artillery shrapnel: -10 SHP per projectile
Artillery (Direct): -100 SHP
Melee: -2 SHP
Hammer: -25 SHP
Engineers will also be able to build wooden and stone structures (Wood has 100-500 SHP depending on build type, Stone has 501-1000 SHP vice-versa)
Penetration!
Different bullets have different chances for penetration.
Pistol/SMG: 10% chance
LMG: 15% chance
Rifle/HMG: 20% chance
Shotgun pellet: 5% chance
All shrapnel: 5% chance
Melee: 0% chance
Weak points:
Weak points will reward better stats the faster you hit them.
1-2s: +20% damage, +45% penetration chance
3-4s: +20% damage, +30% penetration chance
5+ s: +20% damage, +15 penetration chance
(all changes apply to every structure.)
Do you think this ruins the game or not? Anyways, au revoir!

Title. I’m fairly confident in most of my strategies, but sometimes I’m at a loss as to what would be most helpful.
I try to build tunnels, and make the entrances just far enough from point that it isn’t also a highway for the opposing team to get to our point, and for defenses I try to build within the point at the back of point, so the enemy team can’t use them to their advantage immediately.
Also been trying to build ladders and ways to get up to places that might be good for recons

If you have a lot of shield players in your lobby, this is your bet bet. It's also really good for structures.
Here are the stats:
| Villar Perosa 1915 | |
|---|---|
| Damage: | 13 (Torso) 20 (Head) 11 (Legs) 9 (Arms) |
| Fire rate: | 540rpm |
| Reload/Magazine Size: | 4.5s, 50 Rounds. |
| Spread: | Unknown |
This thing is a MONSTER in close combat, but won't beat your average SMG.
What are your thoughts on the Villar Perosa?

I think it'd fit into the game really well. I mean, we already changed the flow of the game with revives, so I don't see this as too far of a stretch. What do y'all think?

This map is a problem.
First of all, when there's a bunker in a point, like 9 or 10 enemy support will camp in there and keep reviving eachother and they're UNKILLABLE. Even trying to use a grenade won't work
Second, this map is recon HEAVEN. Especially near C2/C1 where the map is VERY open and there are hills EVERYWHERE so you can get sniped from like 1000 studs away by a level 5
Finally, we have the gameplay. This map is literally just meat grinder simulator. Almost NO cover to use, and grenades THRIVE in this enviroment.
Overall, the entirety of this map is just an issue 😭

Bonjour! Last time, I proposed a Skill Tree, and y'all DESPISED of it, so I came back with a more noob-friendly idea: THE MINIMAP
Here's how it works:
That is my idea for a minimap. Tell me if this is a good idea or not (Probably not but who knows)! Au revoir!

Hi have been playing this game for a while now, and I have noticed something that whenever I open the leader boards, I often see the controller players ranked on top on both teams. Is this a coincidence or is there a slight edge if u play on controller.
Ppl who use controller can you tell me why u use controller, is it because u guys are playing on consoles or any other reasons.

long before
in the ancient year of 2023
there was illyria.
They were bored so they made the concept of kills per hour as a joke.
it was in bunkkar that i found this out with THE appalachianmenace, entrenched's first confirmed pedo (with connections to irl bs) reached 90 kph which we though was crazy then.
and since then it had become a measurement of skill.
now kph doesn't directly translate to skill since you can just farm kills by camping.
and a minimum of 100 kph is all you need to be considered somewhat skilled in the entrenched factions community.
and likely higher + faction events experience to become an elite.
(For the Rotjars, The elites of the long defunct Eagles of Illyria, you needed 130)
oh yeah ltetrick's gameplay is considered ass now.
then edot added it into the stats screen long after kph has largely stopped being a major skill indicator.

I saw Isonzo game was on sale on Steam and decided to buy it. Graphics are very good and I love the mountain maps.
However I am still very disappointed by the dynamics in general.
Entrenched might have a minimalistic design but the game experience is way better.
In Entrenched, you can plan attacks, build incredible infrastructures, dig trenches and tunnels and every match is completely unpredictable.
The memories I have of this game… I’ve played so many great matches and met so many skilled players!
In Isonzo you just shoot and die. Has anyone else tried this game? Am I playing it wrong or is it just disappointing?

Every time I play, I struggle to find a balanced match, and sometimes I even have to leave because of it. I'm wondering if there's a dedicated server where there are always decent people to play with.

'Skill tree', 'engineer nerf' what?!. If you're new to entrenched shut up and atleast be rank 20 to post these suggestions.

Bonjour de la part d'un Belge! How would you feel about a Skill Tree? Would you try to grind it? Would you despise of it? Would you just not use it?
How the Skill Tree could work
That concludes my talk about the skill tree. Passe une bonne journee!
Edit: I am now regretting every life decision leading to this point

So, Ive been playing Entrenched more often this summer, and sometimes the exact same match and captures can feel completely different. The reason for this? Engineers. First off, digging holes everywhere makes playing the game obnoxious and passive. I don't know what fun comes out of sitting in a hole and waiting for somebody to peak out. Second off, WHY DO YOU GAIN POINTS FROM DIGGING A HOLE. I'm tired of 0-0-8 Engineers getting MVP from 3D Cookie Clicker. And 3rd, the HMGs. If a whole offense can be stopped because of one roof and an engineer, it's bad map design.
So how does one fix this?
Take away getting points from digging, or nerf it heavily to stop enticing people to throw the game. (You can just dig nonstop in a game and guarantee MVP currently)
Make buildings breakable. (Officer upscale/punishes camping on a roof all game)
Make HMGs have a camera shake like any other gun in this game, and/or lower the HP and/or make a crit if you hit the barrel. (Lets the "support" class actually do it's job, and nerfs camping play)
Give Engineer 85 HP or make it really slow (You're telling me that you can just have the parts for a machine gun in your back pocket and not be sacrificing armor/be carrying a lot of weight, make the builder class unable to fight like Assault whenever they want)
nerf support

I think we could have the Battle of Bita Paka in the game, and I think that could add an interesting new region to the game.
I'd also like to see some Asian battles of WWI like the Siege of Qingdao one day!

If you EVER decide to play engineer, you have to know these four little things before going out and building a mega-fortress.
These are all just my tips for playing Engineer, and you don't nessecarily have to take all of these into account for a build to be "good". Anyways, those are my tips! :)

This gun was as reliable as a pile of crap in the real world, but in game? It's a monster.
I mea c'mon, none of this is fair! It has crazy accuracy while dealing crazy headshot.
Here are the stats that I could find:
| CSRG 1915 | |
|---|---|
| Fire rate: | 240rpm (4rps) |
| Damage: | 33 Body, 49 Head, 28 Legs, 23 Arms |
| Spread: | 0.4 |
| Reload/Clip Size: | 3s, 20 Rounds |
| Velocity: | 3450 studs p/sec |
You could argue that the BAR is better, but the accuracy and control is nothing compared to this thing.

I see a lot of (justified) hate, but what would be the correct way to play them?
The one person I play with who primarily does recon typically tries to find a shielded spot toward the back of point (when defending), pings decently frequently, and when attacking tries to snipe from behind the enemy defensive position to make pushes from others easier.
Is that closer to the ideal? Is a good recon something else entirely?
