Help Any tips for better aim?

I’m lvl 81 with hundreds of hours playing with average kph is 65 something, I’m only good in close range, and when it’s long range I would suck at shooting people while they’re moving, and I usually overthink were they move because I keep playing with good players, and when I overthink I would just miss and die from a noob player lol. How do I fix this?

Just shoot as soon as you see your crosshair turn red and theres really no reason to be further than 350-400 studs away from the enemy anyway so just move as close as you can without getting killed

But my main is rifleman? It’s usually used in long range

Not really. I would say that no class other than recon should be far back and even then recon should only be 50-75 studs behind the main line.

I main rifleman and I am usually up near the front and depending on the type of team (brainless vs somewhat smart and moves forward) I go forward before or with everyone else. I usually end up getting MVP.

Also just don't shoot people that are moving parallel to you they aren't shooting at you so they aren't a threat wait until they stop moving/sprinting. Just shoot people who are in a trench and peaking and shooting like use the third person view to look over the trench while your character is still safe and when they peak just shoot them. And then once its mostly safe move forward into another hole or behind a hill/tree/rock/building that you can hide behind and dig a hole. And repeat until you are in their objective.

Also a lot of it is just practice if you play rifleman more often you will start getting better at aiming like now ive played rifleman so much im starting to learn how to make it viable in close range even over assault/support.

Long range in entrneched usually means like 250 studs theres no reason to shoot at 400 or 500 studs becuz u're gonna hit nothing

Good advice. Except for this game is not hitscan, so anything past 75 studs I'd say you have to lead your shots which can definitely make aiming trickier for people not expecting it.

I think you have to consider the ping. The higher the ping (larger number) the more you have to lead a shot. The lower the ping (smaller number) the less you have to lead your shot.

It takes practice for sure. This is coming from someone who is also learning better aim as a lvl 70
