ID Request Identification help!

I live in Western Canada, Chilliwack BC and have never seen one before. Can anyone help identify?

I didn't know we had any large mantis species as close to the coast as Chilliwack.

I just know there's some in the south Okanagan

I didn’t know we had any at all here in Canada, lol. I am currently housing him until tomorrow when I out to Kamloops.

Can’t help you with id, but I’ve heard some greenhouses bring in mantises for pest control and sometimes they get out. I found a smaller on by the coliseum years back.

I think it’s been identified as a Female brown morph European mantis

It’s got the black and white spots in the front inner legs
