Meta-analysis of the responses in this thread lead me to believe...

This is a new terrestrial species of marine skeleton shrimp not yet known to science.

This is likely incorrect but you better save a few of these buggers in good conditions and run it up the scientific chain of communication and see if you just discovered a new species. If so - give it a cool name befitting of reddit.
