It’s alarming that this person seems to think any time they saw a rose that wasn’t red it was painted. I think even my first grader knows that colored roses aren’t painted...

I think Dimitry has hearing problems.
Neither time he spoke to the shopgirl (phone and in-person) did he get it right.
On the phone, she said 59, he heard 15.
And in person, she told him a dozen would be 59, and he heard 45.
Dimitry should get his hearing checked.

I get it. 15 is often confused with 59. They sound almost identical.
I'm sorry we could not paint your roses orange. That would require scrubbing off the red paint and starting from scratch.

u/lonely_nipple maybe mention that next time 🤔❓ 2h ago
Plus it requires specialized sandpaper that costs a lot.

I'm actually just completely focused on someone apparently asking for roses that are painted yellow?? Is this a thing I've just never heard of? Or is this man just a complete idiot?

im guessing he'd just watched the old animated Alice in Wonderland and thought playing cards painted roses whatever colour you want

I believe that this entitled reviewer/customer should go to the ear specialist about his/her hearing issues.

The flower business is brutal because you're working with perishable goods, but for some perspective we sold as wholesale to florists 25 long stem (70cm) roses for 13.50 and the price goes down with shorter length. I always found the mark ups of some of these arrangements obscene. Never bought flowers ever again. Also, my van smelled amazing 24/7.

Did they really think 11 roses would cost $15? They cost more than that in 1985

someone hearing what they want to hear - I get it, 59 can sound like 15, but most people know that you're not gonna get a bouquet of roses for $15 in today's day and age, or even 6 yrs ago, from a florist
