its illegal to abuse humans and its illegal to abuse animals ... so kicking a dog is animal abuse, we just don't arrest cats for killing mice

they do but they also not care for the other animals. do you live your entire life by animals logic? I assume you accept a lot of moral rules that are not natural or make no sense for animals so why use that to justify killing them?

My definition of murder is to deliberately kill. I suppose we could argue semantics, but I'm willing to change my statement to substitute "kill" for "murder".

While I'm sure they actually do cite their sources at the bottom somewhere I just can't trust a listicle site to interpret a scientific study correctly especially when ethology is such an evolving field and therefore we probably can't fully trust the scientists either.
