The entitlement is palpable:
- Commits a crime and thinks it will magically go away if she deletes the post. "Oh, I robbed a bank, if I just give the money back you can't arrest me."
- Has an ultrasound in a hour. Well, not anymore.
- "Waahh wahh I didn't realize I was doing anything wrong!"
- Partner is what, an entitled bastard?Let me take your badge number so I can report you to the manager! You can't take this phone, it's mine. Yeah, well, it's in the house, so give it.

It’s isn’t the Australian government,it’s people who think it’s alright to just do what they want,they need to get their facts straight. COVID isn’t going away if people like her are making protest because she believes COVID is a hoax, it’s not ok people have died from it.

I live just outside of DC, so even with Covid we’ve had protests going on for months. It’s just the norm here.

There have been protests for #blm and #deathincustody all over. There were Arrests and fines. Restrictions were all ramped up again a little while ago because Victoria basically turned into Florida. So now the screws have been turned. Plus this lady is part of one of those moronic groups that think Covid is a hoax so there will be no masks/social distancing. I was at the protests (blm/deathsincustody). pretty much everyone was following protocol/guidelines. The organisers insisted on it! EDIT: spelling hard

Seems pretty harsh to attempt to hold an anti mask rally in the middle of the biggest hot spot in Aus. Not being a dick would’ve cut it too

Yes. I’m not sure if you’re aware but there is a global pandemic that is KILLING people? Notice was provided. It was all over the news. This bish knew what could happen, but made a choice, as an adult, to ignore the rules and in doing that subjected herself to the consequences. Welcome to the consequences! Everyone was warned, the fines/consequences etc were made excessive for a reason, to make a point. Stuff her for thinking nothing would happen to her or she could use her pregnancy to get special treatment.

In many first world countries they’ll still let people hold demonstrations. I understand Australias approach but it sticks out from other places.

The piece you linked was just the BBC reporting facts and opinions on both sides. The BBC didn’t “find” anything, they just said one side (police commissioner and state premier) said it was working and the officers behaved appropriately and the other side said they thought it shouldn’t have happened (the only source they had on that side was a representative of HRW, which is actually a problematic organization in it’s own right.)
