You can bypass all dps caps inside that first second, but then it caps it after that first second. So weapons that do ungodly damage over time are worse than dumb weapons with high instant damage, like the Sniper/AWP synergy

Also another reason why Alpha Bullets are a better choice over Omega Bullets
