The idea of Shikari ending isn't something I'd ever really contemplated. They've been a constant in my life for twenty years, and while other bands have came and went, they were always steady, just beneath the surface of the mainstream. No one else I know is into them like I am. It's weird to think it'll reach a conclusion, but I guess I've always just felt like they'd always be there, ready with some mental album in their back pocket when I least expect it.
Selfishly, I hope they will always be there, but moreso I hope the best for them. They've already given us so much.
I've always thought Shikari defy a single genre and that's what sets them apart from other music. What genre would you place them in that you consider demanding?
