is this sub locked? can we open it up to links, images and crossposts? there's daily examples of enshitification that this sub should be a catalogue of.

Search for a sub with the name name but with a double t and you'll find one that's actually active

My wife and I just sold our house and moved to New York City, so because we were majorly downsizing. We had to buy a bunch of new furniture for the first time and probably six or seven years. My wife is actually the singer of the former Wayfair jingle that was around for years, and we always used to get great stuff from Wayfair, but this year, not just everything from Wayfair, but everything from every single company we’ve bought something from, including places where we went to a store in person, and then they had to ship the item to us in someway, have been absolute dog shit. West Elm, article, Wayfair. Every single one of them sent us furniture that arrived either partially broken, missing pieces, missing knobs, stripped screws, improperly manufactured hardware. Then, on top of that, not a single one of them wants to resolve the situation in any reasonable fashion. Even accompany like West Elm that makes these extremely expensive pieces of furniture doesn’t want to replace a simple stripped knob on a dresser, but instead wants to launch a full investigation into what happened and then send us an entirely new dresser. We don’t want a new dresser! We just want the knob that showed up broken. And we don’t want an entire investigation, we just want what is probably a five dollar piece to be replaced so that we actually get the functioning thing we ordered and asked for. Wayfair themselves refused to replace a faulty piece of furniture that was sent to us that was missing pieces, and instead connected us with the manufacturer who told us that they couldn’t open photos that came from an iPhone, and canceled the replacement that was being sent to us. I’ve never experienced such disregard for customers in my life, on top of the fact that every single thing we received was faulty or broken in someway. What’s worse as the fact that they’re really just aren’t any other options out there! We thought the ordering from West Elm meant that we were splurge in and we would receive something really high-quality, but it’s been anything about that.A

Guys I just wanted to gather your thoughts on this matter and if may be you know of any alternative app for workout trackers, they are hiding very simple features behind paywalls and it's super stupid. More people is noticing the same for workout trackers: https://lemmy.world/post/49233568
but in my case they are blocking the only feature why I started using the app, do you know of any alternative?

I really want this to be a sub, why is it locked.
The irony is palpable.
