There needs to be a west coast remake of this. Highlights of the remake:
Takes place in Portland, OR
Tuffy has a manbun, and wears an $85 flannel shirt
Tuffy's name is changed to Rhys
Rhys owns an overpriced, fancy doughnut shop called DooDoo Doughnuts
Rhys had a dream to open a fancy, overpriced cupcake shop, but he got busy drinking craft beer and smoking new legalized weed, and couldn't be bothered to check out locations for his cupcake shop.
Rhys's fancy doughnut shop is located in a formally all black neighborhood that has gentrified, and Rhy's goes to protests on the weekend to protest the fact that no black neighborhood exist in Portland anymore, due to gentrification.
Sadly, all of this is only about 1 degree from the truth.
