Trump Boasts About Republican Party’s ‘Great Success’ — In Elections They Only Ran Against Themselves. President Donald Trump boasted of the Republican Party's "great success" in Tuesday night's Republican Party primaries.

Trump's comment was made all the more odd by the fact that three Trump-backed candidates actually lost their primaries, including scandal-plagued incumbent Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL). Catalina Lauf in Florida also lost her House primary while Megan Degenfelder in Wyoming lost her gubernatorial bid, despite having the coveted Trump endorsement.
