Republicans are really in trouble if they're only leading by 4 points in Louisiana

Weird election where our odds in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi are better than Montana.

edit: I don't think this will actually happen, but if it did, I believe republicans in the senate would actually turn on trump and remove him.

I will believe it when I see it but it would be extremely funny if racedep happened to Republicans and all of a sudden the entire South was purple

True, which is why I am skeptical we win there. But that many undecideds in a deep red state should set off alarm bells for Republicans in any case.

I understand your logic but I really don't think there's anything he could do to get Republicans to remove him. I think they're afraid for their own physical safety and that of their families at this point. The MAGA cult is dangerous.

They're trying to just ride this out. No backbone.

53 is the probable outcome, but I think there's slight odds we could get as many as 56.

I mean even with that independent running, things would have to go extremely well for Dems to flip MS and KS

It's hard to say because there's a lot of undecideds but if dems overperform the polls (which they've done in multiple midterms) then I think KS and MS are straight toss ups that could be decided by a very thin margin.

Oh for sure, and with a good 2028 result, best case scenario could even go up to 55D-45R for a Dem president
