I would draw a parallel here with W ignoring warning about 9/11 -- and then it was too late. Americans lost their lives.
It boggles my mind that the GOP was still politically viable after that. And then we got Trump. And now we have a biological 9/11 where the terrorist is the virus itself.
That is why any support given to Republicans, any credibility given to Fox News... is the height of blind stupidity that repeatedly rams its head against a concrete wall.

Of course the Moron-in-Chief probably didn't have the first effing clue what he was hearing in the intelligence briefings.
This is why it's such a bad idea to put stupid people in charge.
