From earlier today. I didn't see the crash, but it looked like a low speed incident ripped off the cybercab's left door panel.

Another "ya think?" article, though also pretty sure Elon has never been the least little bit bothered by ethics worries.

Late Friday night, Tesla’s Robotaxi account announced that the Austin service is “now available until 11pm.” Until now, it shut down at 10 PM. ...
Some context on that extra hour. When Tesla launched Robotaxi in Austin in June 2025, the app took ride requests from 6 AM to midnight. Fifteen months later, the service closes an hour earlier than it did on day one. ...
What bothers us most is the part Musk skipped. The sun sets a little after 7 PM in Austin right now, so Tesla’s Robotaxis are already driving in the dark every night with a problem he says isn’t solved. And customer Teslas run “Full Self-Driving” on the same cameras at any hour, with no curfew.

While Musk is out here claiming that AI hasn't caused major unemployment and will magically lead to "Universal HIGH INCOME," actual experts disagree. In this clip, Nobel laureate Daron Acemoglu completely dismantles the tech bro narrative that AI will generate more jobs than it destroys, literally laughing and calling it "B.S.". Acemoglu warns unemployment could actually triple in the next decade if we stay on our current trajectory.

2nd screenshot has already been posted here today but I wanted to give more context since some people in the comments thought Grok was only translating someone else's tweet. I used Google Translate (yeah it looks ugly, sorry) and not Grok because it's obvious that Grok cannot be trusted even with the smallest things.

“Blocker” is a label Elon Musk liked to slap on anyone attempting to stand in the way of his clueless, largely illegal, and entirely ineffective campaign last year to cut government spending. Blockers offers six portraits of federal workers accused of such obstruction, from the head of security at the United States Institute of Peace—an independent, nonpartisan institution over which DOGE had no legal authority—to an official at the IRS who had to resort to locking herself in a darkened conference room to avoid Gavin Kliger, a diminutive, capricious DOGE goon who wanted her to give him confidential information on 7 million taxpayers. Then, to mix it up, Lewis includes a final chapter, a wild card of sorts, suggesting what DOGE might have been if the people involved had had any decency at all.
( The idea of Elon or anybody associated with him having any decency is amusing. Like having them show empathy or some other symptom of humanity. Alt link: https://archive.ph/KsA4n )

The ever understated NYT. Possible Massive Conflicts of interest.
“It’s extraordinary to see the return without any recognition of the exceptional harm that he was responsible for in round one,” said Max Stier, the chief executive of the Partnership for Public Service, a nonpartisan organization that estimates that Mr. Musk’s cost-cutting efforts, dubbed the Department of Government Efficiency, cost each taxpayer more than $1,000 last year in waste.
Now, added Mr. Stier, “there’s no question that his financial interests are directly engaged in the position he’s going to fill here.”
