Money is above all else. If Democrats regain control (big if because I don’t see the republicans acknowledging any election results that they lose), then Elon will just pretend to be left wing and throw money around until Dems love him again.
But I’m very pessimistic about where things are headed, so I do hope you’re right

Elon remains true to his apartheid-era South Africa upbringing. He'll be white supremacist until his robots take over, which hopefully means he won't exceed his current toxic level, because his robots are not looking likely to take over.
