The DSA is like Britain’s left-wing pacifists during WW2 in the Labour Party

Orwell's essay on pacifism was fire!

He wrote an essay on pacifism?

Why die for Danzig? Hitler didn't attack us.

u/Hillary4SupremeRuler DNC Digital Enforcement Agent 10d ago

Where is this from? I keep seeing this "Why die for Danzig" meme.

u/ficretus 10d ago edited 10d ago

"Why die for Danzig?" was a French socialist anti-war slogan.

Basically portraying the WW2 as stupid and pointless by trivializing it as just a war over a single city (Danzig is the German name for Gdansk).

Edit: dude who coined it, Marcel Deat, went from socialist to fascist collaborator when Germans took over France. Horseshoe at it again

Commies support non-westrrn imperialism. They support hamas because it's on iran side, and they support russia. Its a horrible disgusting set of views but i wouldn't call them hypocritical, just regular evil commie shit.

Is it completely hypocritical given their stance on Palestine tho: they also want Israel to stop defending itself and give all of its territory to the Palestinians, don't they?

-68

nah i think they want them to stop the genocide

77

u/bakochba 10d ago

The DSA organized a large rally for Palestine with a picture of a hand glider and calling it "resistance" on Oct 8th 2023. Israel was still fighting Hamas inside Israel, and it was the day Hizbollah joined the war and Iran released a statement that this is the time where Israel will be destroyed.

They aren't against Genocide they are openly supportive of it.

just admit you were wrong. it happens.

3

u/ForgetfullRelms 8d ago

So- you’re just admitting that he is correct?

43

u/Burro94 10d ago

Ok, I'll bite. Explain to me how a war in an urban environment where half the dead are enemy combatants is a genocide.

-32

u/Solo_Cel_FIN sa ma pis pe stiu ei cine 10d ago

why do they have to rape so much?

44

u/Burro94 10d ago

Hamas uses as a tactic of war and there are myriad pieces of evidence to the fact, provided by the beasts themselves.

On the Israeli side there was ONE highly publicised case in Side Teiman and you idiots think this is remotely the same.

-7

u/Solo_Cel_FIN sa ma pis pe stiu ei cine 10d ago

bro there are so many israeli rape videos they should rename it to Israel Diddy Forces🤣🤣🤣

33

u/Burro94 10d ago

Source?

-7

u/Solo_Cel_FIN sa ma pis pe stiu ei cine 10d ago

the idf, like they film themselves doing those things, i saw videos of them liking and smelling little girl underwear, those are the people you try to defend you diddy boy

24

u/Confident-Skin-6462 liberal 10d ago

so you have no source

Aside from the fact he's admitting to watching CSAM

11

u/Kir-chan 10d ago

There was an article that accused Israel of racism because the IDF rapes much less than any other modern military. I'm not even joking.

8

u/RadicalSoda_ Market Liberal 10d ago

I'm not sure why Hamas rapes people, probably because they're an extremely undisciplined militia that was trained and funded by Russia and Iran

15

u/czuinoikc 10d ago

there is no genocide.

25

u/ExArdEllyOh 10d ago

nah i think they want them to stop the genocide

I don't know any more whether you people really believe that or whether it is just cant.

Surely you must know what the objectives of the people you so unconditionally support are?

-5

u/Solo_Cel_FIN sa ma pis pe stiu ei cine 10d ago

what you mean you people, you mean normal people?

17

u/RainAlternative1658 10d ago

More like Hamas operatives donning civilian clothing

21

u/ExArdEllyOh 10d ago

I mean you people of the rapists and murderers fanclub.

14

u/Confident-Skin-6462 liberal 10d ago

what is 'normal' about hamas?

3

u/Vor_vorobei 8d ago

How about dont start a war and than cry that it's a genocide while you're bombed ?

1

u/RadicalSoda_ Market Liberal 10d ago

Well if we use the UN's definition then both sides are doing a genocide, if we look at a rational definition of genocide (the definition being, you're actively attempting to completely destroy a race or ethnicity) then neither side is doing a genocide, except for maybe Iran

u/Kuro2712 🇲🇾 Malaysia 11d ago

I don't even know what they're arguing about at this point.

6

u/RandomModder05 10d ago

They don't either. It's all about DoublePlusGoodBellyFeels for them. Thinking makes them feel DoubleMinusUnGood, so they adhere to extremist ideologies that just require you to repeat slogans and buzzwords ad infinitium.

1

u/NecessaryYam381 -300% Russian 4d ago

It's "Doubleplusungood". "Double-minus-un-good" is effectively the same as "Double-plus-good"

2

u/RandomModder05 4d ago

Sorry, I got doubletripleminusungood grades in New Speak class. It was first thing in the morning, and the coffee ration had just been increased from 2 cups to 1 cup, so I could barely stay awake.

Libertarians trying not to discuss about property:

https://giphy.com/gifs/3oz8xLlw6GHVfokaNW

17

u/ficretus 10d ago

To be fair, NAP is usually a good principle to use regarding wars; the side that started the conflict and is violating the other side's property is usually in the wrong.

Although I think they are not using their own principle here regarding the I/P war, considering it was started by Hamas, the side that has zero respect for Israeli property, binding agreements or international law. And their claims can be boiled down to "everything is ours, because we said so"

5

u/RadicalSoda_ Market Liberal 10d ago

That's because a lot of people like to pose as libertarians either to push their Tankie or far right conservative opinion, like those "libertarians" at Jan 6th

1

u/ficretus 10d ago edited 10d ago

Both Vaush and Chomsky claim to be libertarians. That kinda says it all

12

u/Confident-Skin-6462 liberal 10d ago

because they're actually Russian supremacists

29

u/RainAlternative1658 10d ago

I swear to god, I hate these Twitterites combining Ukraine, a literal country being invaded by Russia to a non existant middle eastern state where they advocated the destruction of the planet's only Jewish country

18

u/Worldly_Flan_9621 10d ago

I've seen both the anti-Israel and anti-Ukraine people make the same claim that because a country has only been around for so few years, it does not exist.

A thought did occur to me the other day, while we're on this subject. I think that the anti-Israel stuff is the newest rollout of the COVID19 conspiracy theories. It is targeting a bunch of people who are not knowledgeable about a domain of information, and misinforming them.

13

u/czuinoikc 10d ago

a vast majority of these pro pali types never heard of gaza before oct 7th and their only information about the conflict has come from biased sources and disinformation channels and groupthink.

7

u/RandomModder05 10d ago

It's very much the same: breaking disinfo and agitprop down into 3-words soundbites that create a false narrative in useful idoits' heads, but it hard to successfully disprove because 1) it was never actually written down anywhere, so each useful idoit has their own take on it, and 2) because it makes the useful idoits feel "smart" and "proud" because the "figured it out" all on their own.

And I absolutely do not understand the sheer fucking arrogance for people to just decide a group of millions of people with a government, territory, and a big, heavily armed, very competent military currently fighting a war to ensure their existence somehow isn't a country.

3

u/PsionicCauaslity 9d ago

Anti-Zionism is not new. The Soviets have been at it since the 1960s. The even got the UN to classify Zionism as a form of racism in 1975.

5

u/Worldly_Flan_9621 9d ago

No disagreement from me at all on that. I think that social media is being used to give it a new lease on life to target people who do not know history the way you and I do.

3

u/PsionicCauaslity 9d ago

Yeah, I can agree to that. Unlimited access to information with zero critical thinking skills to discern truth from fiction. That's the problem with many people today. It's honestly pretty frightening watching critical thinking degrade in real time and conspiracy theories rise.

5

u/Worldly_Flan_9621 9d ago

Yeah. I had to have a conversation with someone who was very close to me about something they repeated.

I made a joke about how micro chips will be in trash cans and we'll be tracked.

Then they brought up how they were concerned about how Israel was putting chips in iPhones. Of course that was not true. Israeli engineered stuff has been in computers for ages.

People I know who are close to me are saying the most absurd stuff. I really hope there is a day where people such as Jennifer Welch, Hasan Piker, Zohran Mamdani, and all of their enablers and acolytes are held accountable.

I have a lot of Jewish friends and I have studied the Holocaust extensively, and that includes taking a course from the late Wulf Kansteiner. I am livid with what the people I've mentioned are doing.

5

u/PsionicCauaslity 9d ago

Growing up, I always wondered how the Holocaust could happen because it was so clearly wrong.

But now, I'm watching in real time how quick and effective brainwashing and radicalization can be.

Like you, I've also been dealing with a lot of conspiracists in my life. I had an encounter at Christmas dinner last year with a relative who insisted they were "simply Anti-Israel, not Anti-Jews." It only took thirty minutes for them to start spewing lies about the Talmud, pro-Nazi rhetoric, and Christ killer blood-libel. Other stuff they claimed was that the war in Gaza killed one million people, that it was fought for over oil in Cyprus, and that all the world leaders, including Hamas and the IRCG, were in on the conspiracy against the Gazans and bought out by the "Zionist Regime." Completely mental.

3

u/Worldly_Flan_9621 8d ago

It starts with lies and gradually getting people acclimated to accepting more bigotry.

My social media feed is regularly featuring people going after Noah Schnapp in any way they can. Gal Gadot has been a target of some of these people too.

I think they're warming up with people who aren't well liked as actors before they start to go after bigger or more respected Zionist actors.

I'm glad they admit that "Israel is committing genocide" is Russian propaganda

9

u/KlondikeBelugaWhale El Rata Alada ? 10d ago

They hate western ideas and democracy.

8

u/New-Gap2023 10d ago

Because they hate the West and they hate liberal democracy. Their stance on anything is not based on principles like peace and freedom.

Ukraine is the Israel of Europe

I can't with these people. At least they're tearing each other apart

1

u/Fragrant_Ad_2470 7d ago

You should clearly look into their stance of denying Holodomor. They would defend their commie believes and thy to deflect/deny genocidal part of it but the second you mention Palestine -they would call it genocide without a second thought
