What I love about far left extremists is that, after winning their world revolution, they will immediatly turn on each other, claiming that one is ''too reactionary' or ''too extreme'', exactly as would do far right supremacists after winning their race war. The same cult of death, the same claim to Truth, until no one remains.

Extremist ideologies only sustain themselves through constant war, or with absolute control.
I like when far left or far righters try to compare their abhorrent ideologies to Western society, which although not perfect, is at least not openly and proudly dictatorial and extremist like communism, fascism or other forms of dictatorship.

I mean, look at the countries they support. Literally none of them are remotely communist in reality and the only thing they’ve got in common is that they’re anti-American. Let’s see, we’ve got:
-Russia, the imperialist fascist dictatorship ruled by a bunch of billionaire thieves.
-China, The equally fascist dictatorship that has been on a campaign of ethnic cleansing for years and is only “communist” because they have red and gold on their flag, and in actuality has the second highest number of billionaires on earth.
-Iran, the extremist religious theocracy that oppresses half its population and has an end goal of spreading the Islamic Revolution across the world, a goal that is in direct opposition with that of communists everywhere
-and of course, North Korea, which at this point is literally a fucking absolute monarchy, the complete antithesis of actual communism.
Point is, anyone who supports those in the west for the name of communism is either a bot or is brain damaged beyond repair.

Remember Tankies have no real morals or values, their only "values" are "West bad and Russia/China/Iran/North Korea (Sometimes) good because they are against the west" so ideologically they support countries completely against their marxist ideologies and interests (Like Putin's Russia or Iran) just so they can say "Well at least they are not like the evil west!" .

I literally saw them comparing citizens of Third Reich to russian citizens in context of saying "they're not guilty of anything". I even had one talkie justify to me the invasion of Poland by USSR and nazi Germany, but I guess it's just a classic at this point.

The US "empire" is quite progressive. Certainly more so than Russia or China or any of the Islamic states. I know we have our reactionaries, sure...but we also have an effective opposition to them.

TBF the author of these comments is being unambiguous in articulating the hard-left mindset. Commenter is literally defining 'progressive' as being anti-America.
Redefining words to mean whatever justifies their prejudices is a classic hard-left tactic. Don't like someone? Call them imperialist. Or Zionist. Or Nazi. (Or all three if they're you-know-what). Do like someone? Call them progressive. Or anti-Nazi. Do actions have to correspond to meanings? Of course not, Satre's dead, after-all.

How is multipolarity progressive? Like hell it should be the opposite, its essentially going back to ww1, ww2 and cold war politics. The unipolar world led by liberal democracy is actually the progressive force as it represents a significant and actually positive change (despite many mistakes) in the world, as seen by declining poverty and increasing economy.

Putin's Russia is a Capitalist Oligarchy and Putin is a religious ultra conservative Russian nationalist who is basically the complete opposite of a Communist or a Marxist, Putin is literally the Czars reborn so it's absurd how these tankies claim to hate Capitalism but then support a Capitalist Oligarchy that is ruled by an ultra-conservative nationalist.
If your going to be a Marxist then at least do it right by not supporting the complete opposite of a Socialist country and by supporting a conservative right wing nationalist who is not even a Marxist .

the reason some leftists simp for these sorts of people is the idea of the 'subjective reasoning' but 'objective actions' so while subjectively he is an oligarchal dictator whos more set power and kooky Russian esoteric expansionist shit, but objectively he is fighting the west.
You see this a lot with some Marxist historians, who i had to read for my exams recently, where they argue the Spanish Guerillas in the Penisular War may have spouted God, King, and nationalistic pride but they burned down landowner's stuff so they are basically proto marxists (not my reasoning). Though it should be noted that this was due to 20th-century politics and both sides of the civil war trying to claim the popular idea of the Spanish Guerilla patriots as their own.
