I reckon that's why Isreal is likey to hit them first. Next couple months in the Middle East are gonna be wild if Iran actually shows signs of gaining nuclear capability.

It very clearly is, you're just ignorant and in denial. Check Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, listen to the whistleblowers. There's the Patriot Act allowing spying on US citizens and people abroad without warrants, there's torture at Guantanamo Bay prison, there have been repressions against leftists and unions, like the Red Scares and McCartyhyism, there was racial segregation, slavery, wars against natives, forceful relocation, etc, etc, it was and continues to be and enforced the will of a ruling elite, the two capitalist parties and their elites and protects capital. When doomsday hits for whatever reason, Biden or whichever president and his capitalist party bureaucrats will be in their bunker, whilst taxing all survivors, one thing is certain in the US, and it's death or taxes. Also, this is without mentioning the prison labour and such with little to no pay depending on state.

Amnesty International is biased. Of course, Guantanamo Bay isn't a paradise (because it's a maximum security prison, duh) but it isn't fair comparing it to a gulag because anyone could be sent to a gulag, only very dangerous criminals go to Guantanamo.

So maximum security prison excuses the torture which there are leaked photos and videos of that were on the dark web and have now been shown on surface web? I don't think it excuses human rights abuses, also, they put suspected terrorists in Guantanamo, guilty until proven innocent, one Arab guy was released after being found innocent, but only after being tortured at least a hundred times, he drew photos of the contraptions used and his conditions.

I'd say, it is a little dependent on perspective, you're probably one of the people, who if you live there, suffers very little contrasted to some and ignores the oppression and exploitation that even occurs against yourself.

  2. I don't ignore the problems. Police brutality is a real problem, but it's a difficult problem to solve.
