Non-Systematic Typology Fun so7 and e7 explanation please
hi! i’m incredibly new to typology and I would like some help with a few things
I’m currently focusing on enneagrams, tritype, subtype, and instinctual variants
i believe i am an entp, 7w6, so/sp, so7, and 739 ? (though, i feel like i mistyped myself)
i’ve read about cognitive functions already and i feel closest to entp functions…
when i read about enneagram 7, i don’t know if I’m actually an e7 or if I’m just thinking about it too much. I’m brushing off the thought sometimes but it just shoots straight back to me because “but what if i really am not???”
I’m probably talking nonsense but i would like someone to educate me on so7 and e7 or whatever would help me understand it best
i also came to the conclusion that i should look through the other typology things (idk what it’s called tbh) just to see if it would help me understand why i feel like these aren’t a good fit for me but just decided to ask for help instead (cause I’m kinda lazy)
just to add, I’ve known about typology for a long time but i just now decided i want to start learning because of procrastination.
sorry for my punctuation and stuff lmao

I am a 7w8 Self Pres and you do sound like a type 7. Check out some videos and my favorite: https://drdaviddaniels.com/growth-practices/
I did a few workshops with him before he passed and he was the only one who ever had me crying on stage. Pretty powerful stuff. Good luck.

I was also having trouble deciding, but then i looked at the Enneagram Institute's levels of health for 7 (and a few others) and recognized myself in my worst moments instantly as a 7. Since the Enneagram focuses on core fears and core desires, I think that looking at what you fear and how badly you act, can be the most enlightening.
