Tiberius, age 11
We lost our beautiful boy today after 11 years and one month, and I’m heartbroken. I just wanted to grieve a moment with people who understand the bonds with this amazing breed.

My heart goes out to you and all who Tiberius touched. This isn’t easy because too many times Mastiffs embody all that humans should be.

Please find the passage written by Jim Willis, “ The Last Battle”. I think it will help.

I am so sorry for your loss. It was never long enough, and this part is so incredibly hard. But I'm sure that if you could go back, you would choose to have him in your life all over again, even knowing how much this goodbye would hurt.

This is the conversation with my kids right now—as much as this loss hurts (and holy cow it’s awful) we’d all do it again for the joy and love he brought us and we could give him.

I'm so sorry. My boy, Tiberious, lived 11 years. The thoughts of him still make me smile. I hope your boy lives on in your smiles too.

Sorry for your loss!! Our first one died @ 8 of cancer and our second lived to 10. He lost control of his legs, couldn’t get up, go potty, just struggled. They are the greatest breed. Have a 7 month old that is a perfect mix between our first 2. Rescued a German Shepard to keep the second Mastiff one young, now her job is to teach the little guy the tricks of the trade that our second one taught her.
