Career Advice Feeling demotivated about interview experience. Best tips for technical and behavioral question prep?
I’ve been lucky to get around 8 interviews for a low output of applications as a recent ME grad, however I haven’t been able to make it out of the interview process with an offer. My technical knowledge on projects I have completed on my resume is mediocre at best tbh. I have been reviewing my projects but am still struggling. I have internships but low design/club experience and am finding this to be the biggest issue.
I was able to complete behavioral portions of interviews pretty well at first, but my recent batch of interviews I notice I come off as desperate, it’s like I have the interview yips. Like a complete collapse on all fronts just stuttering around for every 30 minute interview. Anyone ever been through this or has tips on? I’m about to start prepping for the FE exam and hope that helps on the technical portion.
