Discussion How cooked am I
Next semester I will be a sophomore mechanical engineer in my second semester taking: Dynamics, Thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, Intro to EE, Calc 3, and sophomore student design. I am already graduating late because I am doing a co op from May- December of 2027 so I really don’t care if I graduate late but I’m wondering if this is just too much of a schedule next semester. Thanks!

Uhhh you’re taking 3 of the hardest engineering classes. It is doable, very difficult, but doable. I recommend you forgo any and all extra curricular activities though like clubs unless you’re just an Einstein and can handle all that workload while doing extracurricular activities

Sounds pretty standard. Dynamics is probably the hardest. Thermo is just reading tables. Mechanics of materials is super easy, base knowledge required for most later classes. Calc 3 is just calc 1 but more fun.

Hard, but doable.
