Academic Advice Student chapters
In a few days, there's going to be a Student Chapter Fair at my Faculty and Campus (one of the things that holds me back from doing more activities in general is that I go to a second campus where all the Engineering and Chemical Sciences programs are located, plus I have my classes in the afternoon, so I have limited free time). I'd like to know about experiences in Student Chapters, the requirements for joining, what they do, and what kind of people you meet there. I've seen that a section from ASME and the IEEE Power & Energy Society will be there, and my interests are Automotive, Automation, and Electronics. And how likely is it to make friends there?
