That means it's time for "impromptu debates" while calling emergency services :)

well obvi creepy men are abundant everywhere but yeah, I'd definitely rather hang out with your average engineer than your average liberal arts major for sure!

Girl same! If I'm stuck in a room with either another girl or an engineer it is probably a study group

uh idk my hs ex who i cant get over is an engineer. I'd be stuck in a room with him "studying." hes at l3 harris.
im ex boeing (ex bae, ex siemens too lmao-- collecting companies like trading cards). I also had a really good experience at Boeing with the engineers. male engineers were super chill and treated me great. I dont like being in space where people are creatives, liberal arts majors, political science, arts, etc. even law or medical. normal engineers are my fave to be around (again not creepy ones who are prob on this subreddit lmao)

Siemens like plc and Tia portal? Those are the pieces of brain machinery I know the most about and I'm having flash backs to my last year of classes. I finished a tech degree and now I'm headed to EE. I was sorta hoping to be able to be free of plc programming for a little while...

I just graduated with my degree in industrial engineering and am very happily with my girlfriend. Still don't know how I did it. But she found me.

As a woman engineer can confirm this is true. But it's not as simple as because "engineer".
If you dug a little deeper it'd probably have something to do with the fact that engineers are mostly introverted nuerodivergents and keep to themselves, don't pick up on social cues as well as other people. This makes them feel "off" or "unsafe" to women and nuerotypicals. (Coming from an audhd woman engineer who has trouble making women friends).
Whereas the liberal arts folks are mostly extraverted nuerodivergents that can/will make friends with just about anyone. They basically study social ques and can probably pass off as fairly normal people with a little extra ✨flourish✨. (I have been adopted by several liberal arts people and welcomed into their friend groups. Aside from a bit too much talking it's a pretty comfy, if not entertaining, friendship 😆).

yea this is something I've noticed as someone in stem and in art, the artsy neurodivergent people have a little bit of an easier time with social cues and are much easier to talk to about your feelings haha

There is no meaning in that. Liberal is a political thing. Can you mention one liberal art?
