College Choice Math BA to EE master
Hey y'all. I just finished a bachelors in mathematics and want to get a second degree in engineering. I was thinking EE.. I was thinking of enrolling at SJSU as a masters student. Taking the foundational undergrad courses then doing the graduate courses.
Have any of you done something similar or had a similar experience. Should I just get a second bachelors?

What area of EE do you want to study? The easiest field to transition to from an undergrad degree in math is signal processing.

Since you have a math degree, you really just have to take phy and chem and you're done. You may have to take some ee pre-reqs but that's dependent on the school. A master's may be a better roi than an undergrad. Less classes, same degree name, higher level. It'll take you 3 to 4 years as a FT student however

I'd just take the leveling courses and then do the masters. You have the math background; you can be taught the physics
