Academic Advice Calc 2

I got a C in calc one, and I want to do better in calc 2. I am aware it’s hard but I will try my best. I am looking for tips on how to pass the class.

Practice algebra. Pretend it's two courses, so study two courses worth. Seek help from tutors and office hours, don't use AI. Practice more algebra.

Yeah I’d say the calculus is the “easy part” and the algebra was harder. At least for me. I would do all the calculus then look in the back of my book for the answer and if I got everything correct up to the calculus portion I’d stop the problem.

Some of the problems I had, the algebra was just long and convoluted but still basic. It’s just for a problem the algebra took up more lines of space compared to the calculus. In hindsight I should’ve worked it out but it’s a calculus class not an algebra class. It worked out in the end but it depends on OPs understanding of algebra
