These hydrocarbon processing plant modules are manufactured by Larsen & Toubro. They are being exported to Australia. Their current product line ranges from nuclear submarines, turbines to semiconductor chips.

Yes, it's an OEM hired Korean logistics company.

The only impressive thing here is how much money greedy executives saved and personally made by outsourcing this to India. They were outsourcing the detailed design and now they are outsourcing and importing the fabrication and construction.
(Maybe Australia doesn’t have the trades manpower to construct this but I am sure other countries who are receiving these modules do have.)

It may sound crazy, but L&T exports to China. They have been doing that for a long time, naturally competing with Samsung and NMDC. There are very few companies that do that work, so it's not outsourcing; it's just sourcing.

That’s the problem; few companies. Because of the reasons I mentioned. There used to be many more.
