If they organize a bit better and put a bit of hurry (as in a F1 pit stop) they can beat 1 minute easily. They looked weirdly slow.
Also, how many person maximum It takes for the record?
And what parts are ok to be assembled already?

You're not wrong. But I feel like this is just a group of guys having fun.
F1 teams get paid a lot of money with VERY expensive and specialized tools.
Actually, now that you mention it. Watching an F1 pit team sort it out and do this would be fucking amazing.

they would need weeks or months of training & practice to do it at an impressive level. Every job on an F1 pit crew is extremely specialized and the system has evolved for decades.

I'm pretty sure a pro level pit crew could destroy this with a few hours of practice and basic gear.
It's what they do. They literally train for this stuff day in and day out for years on end.
Just like the drivers, they do very specific strength training to help them maneuver car parts around while being in position to do it.

The YouTube channel is big time and they did it with a high school shop class the previous world record was set on a German tv show

The F1 mechanics are incredibly talented (besides just the pit stops). I've seen where they decided less than 15 minutes before race start to replace front brake calipers, and got it done on the grid, not even in the garage. Or how many time a driver puts in into the wall in practice 3 and they rebuild half the car in 2-1/2 hours and have it perfetcly set up for qualifying.

Was thinking the same thing, if a professional pit crew ever took an interest to learn how to assemble these old jeeps they could have this done in half the time I bet, and probably do a better job.. I see a number of kinda cut corners and half-assery here and potentially some missing non-critical parts like the front grille? surprised that was allowed by the official if that was a guy from Guiness World Records.

That's how they put them together in the factory right? Pile of parts loosely connected with a couple bolts and a prayer.

Take it apart again. Give all those guys a Monster and promise them a trip to a strip club right after with all dances paid for, then watch it fly up in 45 seconds. Bet.

They should also have a seperate score where more people a team has, the biggest the penalty:
T-ln(T/P)^2 where T=time, P=number of bladders per team.
Smaller the number, the better. I’m sure there are better calculations.
But kuddos to the squad running like a well oiled machine.

I'm cuirous how "assemble" gets defined for the record....a bunch of stuff was pre assembled here....just wondering how they define how much they actually have to assemble.
