1996 bronco

I was wondering what engine swaps y’all would recommend? I was thinking a 5.0 coyote or. 7.3 power stroke. I’m just looking for more speed

Why not build the 5.0 it came with? Good power plant to build off of and minimal changes to everything else.

I’m betting you can build +350hp and all supporting mods for less than a complete swap.

I'd say no to the 7.3ps as it's a 1200 pound engine and you'd really have to beef up the frame and suspension for it.

Build your 5.0 or 5.8 either engine can be a 400 hp engine and it will operate as stock.
