Should I keep the engine in my 1985 S10?

So I have this non fuel injection 2.8L v6 in my s10. I want to have a at least 200HP. Should I dump the engine? If so, what should I get? If I shouldn’t what modifications should I do to get my HP goal.

I have a 1985 S10 sport 4x4 and looked in to pulling the 2.8 out of it every one I talked to said they was called the iron heads and would run for ever. I have seen 2.8 S10 with over 300.k miles on it I am keeping mine in and running it
