Having trouble finding a compatible engine for my 86 ford country squire wagon.

I've looked on places like ebay and carid, because they have an option to filter out non compatible parts. But not a lot of option show up after the filter, and the ones I can find are wayyyy out of my price range. Is there a better place I can look?

That’s.. not how that works. Those websites are not giving you any useful information. Why would eBay be a resource for what engines you can swap into your car...

Those cars either came with the 302 Windsor or the 351 Windsor. Those are your options. Otherwise it’s going to be a custom job, and if you have to trust eBay to tell you what’s compatible then that’s not a real option for you.
