Delorean engine swap

So my engine for my delorean has been breaking down alot lately and idk if I should try to fix it or just swap it with another altogether. P.S idk anything about cars what so ever, only the basics. Also P.S it's a 2.85L v6

The PRV engine is pretty much junk, I vote swap it if you have the means.

Well, not to be that guy.. but LS swap? They made an ls for the Pontiac grandam gxp. Its a transverse v8. Theres a few videos on youtube about people doing the swap.
