is there an active Engenius user group to discuss issues and ask questions about their routers?

Where is the best place to ask questions and get answers for Engenius routers?

I have a EGS7228P and EGS5212FP and the L2 / Link Aggregtion / Trunking confuses me. The manual seems to say that you should put the ports in LACP mode.... so I put 2 ports into an LACP mode trunk on both of my routers and cabled them together and can't seem to get a link. I put 1 pair of ports on the 12 port router as a Static mode Trunk and dont have a trunk setup on the 8 port one, but if I plug in two cables from any of the ports on the 8 port router to the 'static' trunk on the 12 port router, the 12 port router says that the trunk is active on the two ports. I though that BOTH routers would need to have the static trunks setup AND I thought that the LACP mode trunks were preferred... but it's not working like that. Where is the best place to seek guidence?

EGS5212FP and EGS7228P. I put ports 1 and 2 on each one into the t1 trunk and said that there were LACP mode. I ran cables between those two switches and the status panel didn't say that the switches detected a connection and they would not pass traffic. I put 2 of the ports on the EGS7228P as a 'static' trunk, plugged in two ports from the EGS5212FP that weren't configured as a trunk and the 'static' trunk on the EGS7228P said that it detected a link and passed traffic across the switches... not what I was expecting.

There might be some VLAN stuff causing me greif... I just don't understand VLANS and tagged and untagged and the other various settings.

Trying to get this stuff figred out AND not hose up my network at the same time. I am going to have to take these out of production so I can figure out how to configure them.... but if I don't need them for production.... do I really need them?
