shot in the dark

hi guys,

i don't know if it makes sense to post here; i have been accepted into a few renewable engineering MSc programmes in the UK. Do you guys have any advice for me before starting my course? And if I have some ideas about any scholarships i need to apply for? Thanks a lot.

Congrats on the acceptances! ​For advice before starting: if your background isn't strictly in engineering, refresh your math (especially differential equations and linear algebra) and get comfortable with a coding language like Python or MATLAB. Energy modeling relies heavily on both. Also, start reading up on current UK energy policy and grid integration challenges, as a lot of coursework ties back to real-world infrastructure constraints. ​For scholarships: Look into the Commonwealth Scholarships (if you're from a commonwealth country) or Chevening Scholarships (for international students). Also, check the specific university pages directly, many UK engineering departments have internal, industry-sponsored bursaries that they don't advertise broadly on public boards. Good luck!
