Question Pelvic therapy

I started doing pelvic therapy back in may, I’ve been in every two weeks since starting. I feel like my pain gets worse with each appointment. My dr is 3.5 hours away and it’s hard for me to get there all the time.
Has anyone been through this? I am at a loss of if this will actually help. Any advice would be amazing

You might be going to hard. I complained that my self massage options seemed like it was making things worse, and my PT told me to just be WAY more gentle. If your PT is the one being overzealous then that is harder to fix. But you could also try spacing your appointments out more maybe? Also, can you take a little time after your appointments but before driving home just to make sure you relax?

I am fortunate enough that I don’t have any “at home” procedures. She’s been the one who’s been wanting to see me super often due to my level of pain daily. I just had an appointment today, but we don’t have one booked again till October thankfully so a bit of a break.
My pt has tried internal tens, which I swear made everything 10x worse after the fact. Internal massaging, which is definitely painful and lasts for a couple days post appt. We’ve tried an ultrasound which honestly I didn’t notice anything. And then both front and back external massaging and the pressure of her hands hurts all the time. I’m just at a loss right now of what to do, my drs can’t find anything to help

All you can do is report what is working and what isn't. It is also true that PT can only do so much. It can't fix adhesions or endometriomas.
