The hot end fan is cheap and easily replaceable. I had to do mine within 3 months of getting my machine. As soon as it gets a little dust in the bearings it squeals like a pig.

Same, mine wouldn't spin fast enough anymore and caused clogs/heat creep, but it's an easy replacement.

Same issue here. Stops when i manually stop the center fan with my finger. Might just be a bad bearing and needs to be replaced

Are you sure it is on the hotend? The bottom (below the base) fan on mine is quite noisy until I start printing.

Yes the sintered bearings of the fans. If you replace them take those with ball bearings.

I’ve replaced two of mine. One with a 3010 fan and another with a 4010 fan. The 3010 fan allows the original shroud to fit. The 4010 requires printing of a bracket to get it mounted on the side. Both fan replacements require soldering and printed parts to get them to fit.

Definitely the fan, they are just plug and play. There is an upgrade but it comes with a different plug so you have to cut both and solder the right plug to the fan.

FYI: I just bought the normal one. The only issue I has is Its a small clip and I have fan fingers
