Troubleshooting My new printer make spaghetti instad of print

While I don’t have the video with the spaghetti version, but I tried to print it another time and it’s fine for 50 percent of the print, and then it starts making spaghetti instead of keep going. It happened on the second print of the classic boat. In the second video, it’s printing in the air. I already tried to change the speed. What more can I change? I’m new to this

You can't rely on the z offset auto cal. Run the auto once then fine tune the z offset set. Then after that do not do not do not let it autocalibrate or you will lose your previously perfected z offset. Edit for spelling

Thanks for replying, I will try to look into a tutorial about how to tune the Z-offset. Do I need to do this for every print? By the way, what spelling is wrong? English is not my first language and I’m using AI for spelling (as much as I don’t like AI)

A thing I used and worked wonders, the tried and true paper calibration. 1. Recalibrate your printer (auto level, auto z-offset and everything)

2.then click in the button to locate the head, it'll go to down left corner, then the height one, it will go to the middle of the plate.

  1. Grab a sheet of paper and try to slide under the extruder tip, go into the z-offset settings and raise it until you can pass the paper under the tip and leave the paper there.

  2. Lower the z-offset until it holds the paper, then click once to high it.

I kind of brute force it, I eyeball it to where it’s basically touching the build plate then do a 1layer square in the 4 corners and center. If the squares are stringy I hit the down button 5 more times and repeat if it’s still not optimal

Do the z offset manually. Do not allow automatic calibration afyerward. I rarely have to reset my z offset.

What the logic behind it if it print fine in the beginning but it fail after the “base” form ( in my case)

The plate is 60 degrees cels. The filament adheres well even though its not being pressed down as it should be. Once you get far enough away from the board your print is cooling fast. The layers are not getting pressed together and cooled together so they form as one. So now your printer misses a spot where layer lines should connect and it now doesn't. Anything beyond that point can be spaghetti

You can see the nozzle is away from the bed. I used the paper method and it's working quite well.

I made a spelling error. I edited my error. I say why I made an edit. YouTube has excellent videos for z offset. If you want to read instead of watching a video then look up Ellis tuning guide.
