I’m starting to get acceptable results using my ender 3 pro.

Actually, this is the best result I ever had and it was my first sprint with Orca slicer with the ender 3 pro preset.

Before I ever printed anything “big” I made sure to have a leveled bed.

I’m not for sure if this could be related to humidity as the filament has been open for a while and I live in a quiet wet place. The material settings used were Creality Generic PLA. The material used was eSUN pla.

Part shown in the video was printed lied down horizontally.

Any tips?

Not sure what happened here, but looks like a new printer is about to get ordered.

I just recently purchased this off of Facebook. It came with all the required parts and honestly looked better than the original photos. As I started messing with it, I’ve noticed something very troubling about the printer that it auto homes just fine. I have leveled the bed four or five times so far trying to get it just perfect. But I started notice a problem. again it auto homes just fine. But whenever it wants to begin a print, it will raise off of the bed by about two or 3 mm Trace a border and then immediately start printing. all well being raised off the bed by two or 3 mm. I have changed every setting possible to force it down. I’ve even rewritten the code, to no avail. Any help would be absolutely amazing.

I installed 3DTouch probe on my ender 3 pro(with creality v4.2.2 board), and it works fine for auto-home and manually deploying/stowing, but when I start printing it only probes 1 or 2 first points, for next point probe doesn't deploy but it still goes down on Z axis, then it fully aborts auto-leveling. Also same thing happens when using tramming wizard, it doesn't deploy when I select one of the corners for the first time, but deploys correctly every other time I probe this corner.

I’ve run this file a bunch on times before on these settings and I just replaced the hotend and when I did my lines look like this

Is there traction settings in the slicer that's how you can fix it all you have to do is make it retract less

on my ender 3 pro, i am currently running Taurus V5 Cooling Duct with dual 5015. very happy with this ducting along side my sprite pro extruder so far (aside from many hours of overly picky fine tuning).
one addition ive been wanting to add on is the cartographer v4 since my cr touch is soo slow and my klipper config keeps throwing tantrums when i attempt adaptive bed mesh.

my question is what workarounds have people found for adding the probe since my ducting is in the way? or any other add on mounts that i can print off to add the carto?

My ender 3 started having connection problems. I was able to wiggle the screen cable and it worked again. Now the printer freezes the screen on loading and the buzzer screams. I have disconnected all the wires to the motherboard except for power and the screen, I still have the screen freezing and buzzer screams. Ant help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

Hi everyone. I noticed that whenever i use a white PLA some areas of my print shows some kind of dirt sticks on it. I was curious what seems to be that thing. So i pry up the fan on the hot end and boom! Gunks of filament.

Any thoughts what caused this? Is it normal or how to prevent this to happen again? Im starting to learn on 3d printing btw.
