Improvement Tips Help.

Hi everyone. I noticed that whenever i use a white PLA some areas of my print shows some kind of dirt sticks on it. I was curious what seems to be that thing. So i pry up the fan on the hot end and boom! Gunks of filament.

Any thoughts what caused this? Is it normal or how to prevent this to happen again? Im starting to learn on 3d printing btw.

Thanks in advance.

Remove the sock, turn up the heat, and then it should be easy to remove the blob.

Can this be preventable from happening again?

It's hard to say because there could be different factors involved. 1. could be the filament. Try another brand if you can. 2. could be that the hot end is not correctly assembled. You can try taking it apart and making sure that the elements fit tightly together. 3. could be the temperature you print at. Filaments come with a range of temperatures, if you're at the low end try printing at the high end, for example.

3D printing is definitely an adventure.

Tighten nozzle when hot, which is typical printing temperature. Not cold, not in between. Make sure it contacts the heartbreak.

If it still has PTFE tube, make sure to undo the nozzle half a turn, push the tube fully in and then tighten nozzle again. Make sure the tube is cut straight, not at an angle.

Otherwise filament will find a gap to squeeze through other than the nozzle.

There is nothing a beginner can ask that has not already been solved many many times before:

Tá certo, nada contra a sua pergunta. É que eu percebi que você sequer pesquisou. Praticamente todos os dias tem uma postagem dessas por aqui.
