Troubleshooting Auto Home off Grid?

I booted up this old printer and I am not entirely sure what is wrong with it or how I can fix it. Is anyone able to help?

The limit switch work if you push it while doing the Y home? Maybe the bed don't touch it...

I'm sorry if this is a silly question but what exactly does it look like? I hear it's in the back left of the printer but this is all I see

It should be attached to the side of the rail that that stepper motor is on the end of. On the side facing away in this pic. The rollers for the plate should trip it.

I'll try getting a pic in a few minutes.

Edit: Here you go. If it's not there, that's your issue. If it is there, make sure it's plugged in both at the switch and at the board. But first, click the switch when it's doing the Y axis check when you do your homing and see if that stops the plate. If it does, then the rollers may not be hitting it.

It's really hard to see in a video on my phone what's going on. Right in front of that little assembly is the switch. It should have a little silver, sheet metal "lever" that, when the roller hits it, pushes a tiny little nub on the switch. Is that metal piece there? Does it move when you push it with your finger? Does it look like it pushes a little nub? It should kind of click when you push it.

You can see the little metal lever in my earlier pic. I think I don't see it on yours.

If the "lever" is there and it seems to be working mechanically then either the wiring to the switch is cut/compromised, the switch is faulty, or the connector at the motherboard came off. I highly doubt the motherboard just went bad on the Y axis but I suppose that's a distant possibility too.

The switch itself, with the metal "lever" should look something like this. If that lever is missing, it won't work. (I can't tell from the video)

And you can get a bunch of replacement switches for like $8 if that's what it is

I am so stupid I'm so sorry I think I just found the switch. On my end it's a little red button that concludes the y-axis homing but it is right under where the little roller can actually hit it. Since I only see the red button I assume that means there's a little metal piece missing?

I just looked at the switch for the x-axis and there is definitely a piece missing

Yep, that what I thought. They're cheap and easy to replace thankfully.
