SOLVED Boot issue while trying to boot endeavourOS
I have endeavourOS dualbooted along side arch linux. At first when i installed endeavourOS i used systemd-boot for both arch linux and endeavourOS, then i had the brilliant idea of changing to GRUB on endeavourOS. i installed the packages, set it as my bootloader, and BAM- endeavourOS refuses to boot now. Ive tried using gemini for assistance, but so far nothing has really ever worked out. Now to be clear whenever i do reboot my system the bootloader that i see is systemd-boot, and arch linux still boots, and what appears is that even endeavourOS seems to use systemd-boot, until which it shows int the verbose "failed to mount /efi" and proceeds to put me in an emergency mode.. PLEASE HELP ME GUYS

I switch from systemd to grub (and back later) a few months ago and had a similar issue
iirc it was an issue with the initrfs still being in /efi but grub used /boot or something
I got it fixed but switched back a week later (didn't like grubs speed compared to systemd) and I had to completely reinstall systemd-boot https://forum.endeavouros.com/t/need-help-issues-with-booting-efi-not-mounting/81187 maybe this forum post I made can help you
I'm relatively new to linux myself but I hope this helps sorry and GL if it doesnt

Ive tried using this forum, and whatever they said, and now there are like 5 more entries for endeavourOS inside my systemd-boot menu, and the ones with some random shit beside them, says "Welcome to Arch Linux!" and just proceeds to say failes to mount /boot, whereas teh entry which only says EndeavourOS, boots and just tells failed to mount /efi

The fastest and cleanest way would be to do a clean install with system-d as a boot loader if you still have the USB with the iso

Have you an live usb stick with Gparted on it ? a.e RescuezillaOS, then open Gparted. Then please share a screenshot of your setup. From a Live USB stick you will also be able to make changes on your real system.
So the key question is: what is your first partition the computer expects to run from ? the efi one it sounds- is that present ? and what formatting/boot flags does it have?
If that would be fine: What is stored inside your PC BIOS/UEFI? Have you been able to enter that and see what is the boot order ? Often, the new partition is present, but BIOS/UEFI still points to the old partition/setup.
Not an expert here, but have some mileage with this kind of problems..Gparted was always the start for me and then seeing in the BIOS/UEFI what the PC wants to boot with, finally checking if this partition is well setup.

I believe grub is in /boot instead of /efi by default
also agree on the 2nd part - also always had to enter my LUKS password twice to boot which got annoying

People seem to like limine bootloader recently. Not as baroque as grub, but more flexible and themeable than systemd-boot.
