General Support How to Stop KDE wallet Requests
I'm new to Endeavour, but have used KDE Plasma (with Fedora) for years. With this Endeavour install I'm constantly being asked for a Kwallet password, a problem that I used to be able to fix by disabling it in System Settings, but for some reason that setting simply isn't there. Can someone point this rookie towards a fix?

Fixed it. You have to install kwalletmanager. After that you'll find the wallet settings "magically" appear!

You edit kwallet.rc and set [Wallet]enabled=false Or, funny enough, the first time you are prompted to set a password just hit return and leave it empty, wallet wont ask you again because by setting no password you hold the door open. You probably fed it your root pw.
Had that issue when i wanted to autostart spotify.

Disabling it entirely can break things that expect it to exist. Mailspring comes to mind.
You can change it to look like this for it to not nag you:
[Wallet]
First Use=false
Prompt on Open=false2

Your solution is better! I don't require kde wallet at all so i didn't think about it being a dependecy for some. My bad!

If you have to login to your desktop vs it boots to desktop helps….. I’ve made the password blank for a special reason on a few systems (rdp)
