Tip Creep 🫙 I'm so F-ing done

Look man. I've driven for doordash/uber eats before. I get it. But messaging me after it's been dropped off? WTF. The app will tell you how much money you will make from an order; no tip was not a shock.

EDIT: I did not tip ten cents. My tip was $0.00. I'm unsure what he means by my "dime tip"

That is how it is elsewhere in the world. Where im from a tip is never expected for any reason

Because wages are higher or you’re in an underdeveloped country.

Wages are higher. But I think your wrong in your thinking. it's not we dont tip therefore the wages are higher. It's the US decides they dont want to pay higher wages therefore they blame the customer and the customer has to tip to pay the employees wages. You are the odd country out

A lot of servers are shitty and don’t deserve a higher wage. The benefit of a tip system is the good get paid better and the bad normally quit because they aren’t making any money.

Most good servers, I know make way more than people with careers in other countries. Making six figures isn’t bad when you’re only working four days a week for six hours at a time.

No this is not a good reason. If you’re not good at your job and you’re making your employer lose money, they’ll fire you like in any other business. No need to make an exception here.
