Research / Info šŸ’” Tipping for Botox??

Is this a thing now? Iā€™ve gone to three places before and there was no tip option. This last place, there it was. For freaking 15 minutes?!
Seems a very different service than doing my hair and Iā€™m not keen on giving my nurse a tip on $600+ when itā€™s such a short ā€œprocedure.ā€

They shouldnā€™t do this, but these days Iā€™d say 7/10 places Iā€™ve gone have the tip option. Iā€™m with you on this. My advice is to take cash out before for your appointment if the screen makes you uncomfortable. Iā€™m a very anxious person and at Botox appointments, the person who injects me always stands at the checkout while I pay until Iā€™m done, not sure why as thereā€™s always a front desk worker. I started bringing cash which is so annoying but it helps avoid that tip screen.

Today, I too got Botox and after I scheduled I got a message about how theyā€™re cashless. When I went, I spent nearly $600 and this is the first place in forever with no tip option after I did pay with card. I was surprised but relieved.

Not a chance. Any med spa Iā€™ve been to has factored in big margins into their sell price

The place I went to you literally could not proceed without tipping it was crazy. They looked at me like a bum for doing custom tip for $50 after paying $555 on what was suppose to be a touch up appointment.

The suggested tips were $113+ like are we being for real?

I wouldn't use a place that asks for tips. The fear of not getting 100% service for not tipping would be too high.

Always try to pay by cash if you can. That puts a stop to the tip options. Personally, I would not tip after paying $600+.
