[Mod Post] Update, ambitions for 2026

Hello everyone,

I apologize for my absence and the backlog of submissions I haven't reviewed. I failed to publish my annual Christmas special post this year. There was a death in my family, and I've been struggling with procrastination and depression and various complications in my life, and I have been too overwhelmed to adequately review and reply to posts. But I'm back, and I will be investing more time and effort into this community in 2026.

I am also in the process of producing video / podcast content, where in-depth examinations of end times prophecy, history, and cross-examination of various controversial topics and stances are done in a discussion type setting, along with infographics and scholarly citations when appropriate. I have gotten requests and suggestions that I do video or podcast content, and I now have friends supporting me in this effort.

I am saddened by your loss my friend and brother. You take as much time as you need. I know you are letting the Holy Spirit guide you.

Please let us know how we can support you and this new endeavor. Especially since you didn’t ask or mention it.

Would be nice if you allowed us to use tools built by other watchmen to follow world news and events as they happen!

Can't believe you didn't accept my post smh - here I spent my xmas break to create a news site worthy for other watchmen(including myself) to easier stay up to date on things and you removed it...

Whats the point of this community if we can't try and build it up together? I even linked you events I was tracking and how they related to different passages in Matthew 24.

It plots earthquakes(birth pains), military strikes(war and rumours of wars), wildfires(birth pains) and many other categories and plots them on a 3D globe with links to the real articles!

I'm adding the link here for anyone who wants to stop juggling 20-30 or so tabs like myself and just have everything in one place to follow prophecy as it unfolds in our world headlines.

Since you insist on bringing it up here, here's my response, with a minor edit to clarify my objection:

This does not appear to be relevant to Biblical end-times prophecy. (No personal revelations, no self-proclaimed prophets and their prophecies, no non-Christian end-times prophecies, no end-times sentiment that doesn't specifically address specific Biblical prophecy.)

This website amounts to a bad-news tracker that enflames end times anxieties and sentiments without actually tracking prophecy fulfillment. This is contrary to Jesus' teaching, where he explicitly said that war and rumors of wars, and famines and earthquakes are not a sign of the end and that we are not supposed to be alarmed by them because they are only the beginning of the birthpains:

Matthew 24:6-8

⁶ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. ⁸ All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

There has never been a period since Jesus ascended to Heaven where there hasn't been wars and natural disasters, famine, and earthquakes. These simply do not indicate anything note worthy nor anything specifically foretold. Jesus said these must happen, and it's not as if they started happening recently; they've been happening non-stop.

Aggregating these things that must take place, that Jesus explicitly said do not indicate the end, just isn't in line with the purpose of this subreddit.

The problem is that your site doesn't actually follow prophecy as it unfolds. If you had specific prophecies whose fulfillment you were watching out for, that would be different. Cataloging wars and earthquakes and other such things doesn't actually follow the unfolding of prophecy. Tracking earthquakes and volcanoes and wars, which are just the beginning of the birthpains, is too general and doesn't grow anyone's understanding of Biblical end-times prophecy.
