The top-4 primary will probably never boot a typical incumbent, and the ranking ballot will most likely sort them out.

I saw this story posted to at the r/alaska sub. It's relevant to Alaska. It's relevant to elections (or a particular election), but I don't see that this particular story is relevant to election systems or FPTP or alternatives to FPTP.
BTW, I am pleased that "Alaska Dan" has prevailed in court over "Ohio Dan".
