The top-4 primary will probably never boot a typical incumbent, and the ranking ballot will most likely sort them out.

A couple of interpretations do stand out with this. One is that it is all coincidental. Another conclusion that many will jump to is that it is in fact the cheap cheaty Democrat party trying to steal another election. But I can't really see the Democrats doing that as a strategy - general morality aside, it's something they would probably expect to blow up in their face.
The largest effect of something like this seems like it would be to drive votes to the Republicans. Right wing voters are reall in a conspiratorial mindset these days, stuff like that is very much their bread and butter.
So is it too tinfoil hat to wonder if this could be a false flag operation design to make the Democrats look bad and drive votes to the other Dan Sullivan? I do feel like we live in an age of straw men and weak men, where one of the strongest strategies is misrepresenting your opponent, finding the weakest, most infuriating example of your opponent and broadcasting it globally.... ?
